요새 읽은 책들: "The Genius Within" &

미국 선거일 부터, 두 주가 지난, 오늘까지도 책보다는 뉴스 보고

(NBC, ABC, CBS) 읽는(온라인 뉴욕타임즈) 데에 너무 많이 시간을

쓴다.

"Independent People"에서

 

After this Finna decided to tend the cow herself. She took little

Nonni along with her. Those were good days. They were serene

days and quite undemonstrative, like the best days in one's life;

the boy never forgot them. Nothing happens; one simply lives

and breathes and wishes for nothing more, and nothing more.

lonely and see how light was her step now as she trotted away

out of the home-field with the calf prancing giddily at her side

   더 안 읽고 싶어지거나 (조남주) 읽은 만큼으로 족해서

   (Erpenbeck) 였다. 시간도 시력도 소중하다.
