Peter Beinart, "Being Jewish After thr Destruction of Gaza: A Reckoning" (2025) The Guardian.서평 가자 파괴 이후 유태인이기. 유태인이고 CUNY 저널리즘 & 정치학 교수인 Peter Beinart의 이 책이. 특히 유태인들을 포함해서, 많은 이들에게 읽히면 좋겠다. 본문이 다만 121쪽인 작은(쪽당 300 단어 정도, 보통 책은 ~470 단어) 책에 내용이 군더더기 없이 알차고 저자의 주장과 논거가 명료, 합리, 공정해서 유쾌하고 빠르게 읽힌다. Passover, Chanukah, Abraham, Joshua, 그리고 Esther와 Purim 이야기나 Talmud에서의 인용도 적절하고 재밌다. 즐겁게 읽고 있던 두 책 -- ..
