동네 도서관 라운지 서가의 책 "The Best American Poetry (BAP) 2023"에서 읽은 시 세 편을 여기 올린다. Charles Berstein의 "Shorter Russian Poem"과 Katha Pollitt의 "Brown Furniture"는, guest editor Elaine Equi가 고른, 2021년 가을에서 2022년 가을까지 미국에서 발표된 '가장 좋은' 시 75편에 들었고,  2023년에 세상을 떠난 Charles Simic의 "On This Very Street in Belgrade"는 시리즈 editor David Lehman가 Preface에 인용했다.
